About
My Story
My name is Matthew Robert, and I am 19 years old. Throughout my life I have both played and coached waterpolo. At an young age, I decided I wanted to join law enforcement so I began taking steps towards this career. I joined Huntington Beach Search and Rescue to learn about  Career in Law enforcement. I then had the opportunity to become a police Cadet at the Huntington Beach Police Department. While both Coaching and Working at the Police Department, I also attend Cal State University of Long Beach where I plan on double majoring in History and Criminal Justice. Throughout my life so far I have gained many valuable life experiences that have prepared me for my future career.

Division 1 CIF Finals
Facing Failure
I have trained for 12 years to become a starter on my High school Water polo team. We had final made it and now we play a team we had beaten 13-2 the week previously..... and we lost.
Steps towards my career
Leaving my past and looking to my future
There came a point in my life were I had to decide if I wanted to play water polo for another 4 years or if I wanted to take a job opportunity that would get my foot in the door of a career that I was working towards. I took the job.
Getting my Education
Striving to be the best
I love learning and plan on trying to get through school as fast as I can. I decided that not only would I challenge myself with getting a degree in criminal Justice but I would further my education by double majoring in History.
